    What is the most affordable two-way radio option that will give me up to a 30 mile range?

    I have been giving my supervisors cell phones for work. This is not working and I am looking for a way to keep our office, 3 supervisors and myself connected via 2 way radios (or similar). This would mean buying out of the sprint contract for two phones. I need up to a 30 mile range.

            Can a VHF 2-way radio be used for video?

            Would it work to connect the video output of a camera to an audio transformer and feed it into the mic connection on my vhf radio? The radio I have to use is a Yeasu FT-7800R which is modified for use outside the ham bands.

                  Midland GXT1050 2 Way Radio Testing Run

                  Just got this in. Testing it out in the city. Took a bike ride to about 1.5 mile and it still work and can still communicate. Will test it out hunting to see how it can hold. ********************* Second test was accomplished. Took it out about 2 miles away and can still communication. But with static interferance from building and homes, and trees. But the performance was much better than my older model walkie talkie I have. So far, so good. Would recommended to consumer. Will work on the annotation mark.

                    I needed an FRS Radio, is there a difference between a marine radio and a normal 2 way programmable radio?

                    I bought a midland Marine VFH handheld radio and was wondering if it’s channels wile line up with a normal FRS hanfheld radios channels (1 for 1 s for 2 etc..)
