i’m getting a new 2 way radio mobile unit. what has to be done to wire it so its only on when the car is turned on and it goes off when i turn car off
i dont want to tap into any other wiring, i will be running 50w a lot and need at least 12 gauge wire and i;ve seen the wiring into of a car, talk about cheap stuff

Audiovox GMRS7001CH Recorded this earlier today when a severe weather system was passing through the area, the walkie talkie if weather alert mode is enabled will override the walkie talkie operation to alert you to an incoming severe weather system. I used to use FRS/GMRS 2-way radios to communicate with my friends several years ago since at that time, most of us were still on 56K, this one I picked up on clearance at walmart – came with NiMh batteries and a charger, 7 mile range and built in NOAA weather radio for around (even now this is still a good price) Cheers everyone
