I need someone to tell me of 2 way radio, that has a lot of good channels, and supports rechargeable or AA batteries. it’s important to use AA or AAA whatever batteries, something I can stock up on incase I can not charge the radio via AC power. I run my own private security company and since we’re very small I’d like to buy 2, 2 way radios much like police ofter use. I have a relatively tight budget and wanted to buy 2 radios that have chargers and the mics (the ones with the spiraled wire leading to the radio). I really like the Motorola radius sp50′s but cannot find 2 that are cheap enough. Does anyone know of any other radios much like these and where I could buy them for cheap? I bought a Cobra brand, 17 mile range. But it only works under 2 miles? Maybe I’m not finding a good channel that goes far? I don’t know. I need an exellent, at least 8 mile, good brand or something, I will buy another set. Any good suggestions. Please help:(
